$ 14.1. Target animal species
Pig, cattle (calves), hen, turkey
$ 14.2. Indications for individual target species of animals
Hens, turkeys:
- treatment of respiratory diseases (CRD) and infectious sinusitis caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and M. synoviae susceptible to tylosin.
pigs:
- treatment of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae,
- treatment of enzootic pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae,
- treatment and metaphylaxis of proliferative enteritis (adenomatosis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis.
Cattle (calves):
- treatment of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma spp. and Pasteurella multocida sensitive to tylosin.
Before metaphylactic use, the disease in the herd should be confirmed.

Do not use in horses due to possible inflammation of the cecum.

The medicinal product should be thoroughly reconstituted with water before administration to animals.
The product should be used based on sensitivity tests as well as local rules for the use of antibiotics.
Administration of too low doses and / or too short treatment time may promote the development of drug resistance.
In order to avoid excessive use of antibiotics on farms where dysentery is a recurring problem, the possibility of improving the hygiene and breeding conditions should be considered.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
The product may cause skin irritation. Avoid direct contact with the skin. Wear protective clothing and impermeable gloves when handling the product. In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with water. In case of eye contact, immediately rinse thoroughly with water.
People who are allergic to the active substance of the product should avoid contact with it.
If skin irritation occurs after using the product, contact your doctor by providing a leaflet. Symptoms such as: swelling of the face, lips, eyes, difficulty in breathing, require immediate medical attention.

4.7. Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay
It can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Do not use in laying hens and 4 weeks before the start of the laying period.
4.8. Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
There is cross resistance between other macrolides and lincomycin.
4.9. Posology and route (s) of administration
Chickens and turkeys
serving the animals, the product should be dissolved in drinking water. Serve 80-100 mg tylosin / kg m.c./day, corresponding to 8.8-11.0 g product / 100 kg m.c. (0.5-1.0 g product / liter of water). Use for 1-3 days for broilers, 2-3 days for laying hens and laying hens for laying and 2-3 days for turkeys.
