Azodyl is a dietary supplement intended for dogs and cats with renal failure. It slows down the accumulation of uremic toxin, which helps to prevent further damage to the kidneys. A preparation composed of beneficial bacteria rinses uremic toxins that disperse in the gut, reducing damage. Capsules should be given in their entirety, they must not be opened or damaged. They can be served both on an empty stomach and in a meal. When using Azodyl, the animal should have constant access to water.
Azodyl will not work right away. First, the effect on urea levels can be seen after two weeks of use.
There are no contraindications to the use of Azodyl, unless there is intolerance after administration (vomiting, diarrhea).
Dogs with renal failure are constantly fighting uremia. The urea makes the body poison with metabolic products that would normally be discharged in the urine.
